Where does the time go?? i have fallen behind again, sigh....

winter is here!

we got so spoiled last year with our snow free winter, i knew it was too good to be true when i thought we might have another mild one....not! already 3 storms in the last two weeks and 2 1/2 days of school missed. the kids never mind a good ole fashioned snow day though...

Near Year's resolution... i usually don't make them because i can't keep them, but i promise to blog more frequently this year, it gets away from me for weeks at a time, but my inspiration for this year is to post at least one of my favorite photos i have taken during the week and post it on friday!!

Christmas "Mini Session Special"

This is Danielle from TA, of all the days we picked to do this session, the weather was calling for RAIN! we haven't had rain ALL SUMMER! So we moved up the time and managed to do the whole session, and just when we were done, i was driving home, the rain came, i'm so thankful we didn't have to postpone!

Baby oh Baby.....

when did my "baby" get so big!! 13 years ago she came into this world as a miracle baby, after 5 years of trying to conceive, many different attemps at other methods, then one last attempt at invitro fertilization, i found out i was pregnant all on my own!! :) WE have been sooo truly blessed and we are so thankful for our gift.

My favorite time of year!

I love this time of year in Maine, SUMMER!! and what a summer it has been, the weather has been the best, and especially for photos at the beach! I had so much fun with the family below, the Provencher's.. Their daughter was here for the weekend visiting so we were able to sneak in a family session for them, what a great looking bunch they are!

Cody is a senior at TA, he is my nephew and it blows my mind knowing he is going to be graduating next year! Makes me realize how precious time is and how fast it goes, i'm going to be there with my own daughter in 5 years. Seams like a long time, but honestly it's not!

Mark wanted nothing to do with having his photos done, but he was a good sport and you never would've known it to look at his photos!

we have lots of family in different states, well my Aunt cherie, who lives in South Carolina came for a long weekend visit, she brought along with her a grand daughter named Jayden... my kids had met her only once before when they were very little, well she came over and spent some time with Anthony and Rylie, they had sooo much fun!! i took them to the park and they washed my car, they played nintendo together... and oh they just loved her accent! i took some pictures of them at the playground having a ball together. hopefully it won't be as long for their next visit to play together again!!

what an adorable little girl... Ella came to the studio for some photos, and i had so much fun with her, look at that face and the curls, she was more than willing to do whatever i asked of her!
