Gliding!

We have this big open field next to our house, and we often see these motorized hang gliders
above our house! I took the kids over to the field this weekend and got to watch them take off
and land... they literally land on their feet! It's pretty amazing to watch!! They also give lessons
if anyone is interested!!

HOT HOT HOT!!

We decided to put our pool up this week, we have one of the newer versions of the soft
pool, but little did we know, that we couldn't get any water delivered until tomorrow (monday).
we were late getting our call in, so they were done delivering for the weekend!
so we thought we'd put the hose in and start filling it ourselves.....
little did we know that only having about 5- 6 inches of water could be sooo much fun!!!
The kids thought they'd be creative and put the slip n slide right inside the pool!!

I had a mom ask me if i would take some photos of her sons lacrosse game, he's been playing
for 4 years and she hadn't taken one photo of him...
let' just say WOW!! I've never been to a lacrosse game before!! my kids aren't old enough to play that sport just yet, and after watching his game.... yikes! not sure if i want them to!!
i couldn't get over how aggressive this sport was, exciting though.... anyway the team(Thornton
Academy) went undefeated this year!! congratulations TA!!

I spent a saturday doing some dance studio photo sessions ranging from 3 years old to 11& 12
yrs old! let me tell you i was pooped after that!!
some of the girls were in 3 different numbers so that meant they had 3 different costumes!
and it meant 3 different individual photos of them in the 3 different costumes!! try keeping track of all that and then rememebering their names to boot! It was fun though, i loved seening them all dressed up, they were sooo adorable, then i had a few that had better things
to do than having their photo taken!
Monday i will be doing my daughters class so i'll post some of those for you to see as well...

creative cakes!

I wanted to put a plug in for my good friend roxanne.... she makes the most creative and
amazing cakes!!! If you need a cake for any kind of occasion she is the girl to see!! My kids love it when their birthday's come around, because they can't wait to see what kind of creation she will come up with. For more info Roxanne can be reached at 282-0421.

Dancing!

Just a preview of what i will be doing this coming week... Rylie has a dance rectial coming
up in June and i will be taking the photos of all of the students! they will be in different
groups and costumes! so i will post and update after the sessions once i get the parents
permission.

Best Friends!

These two cuties (one being my daughter) and the other being my best friend's daughter

are the bestest of friends! They adore each other so much, as you can see in the photos!

They love to play dolls and get all dressed up, and they don't mind playing in the mud at all!!

They've been doing sleep over's w/ each other for quite some time now.... i think everyone

needs to have a friend like these two!!

Happy Mothers Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful mother's day! It was a day to remember for me, spending time w/ my mom & grandmother who is 92! There are several 4 generations here in this picture, some aunts and cousins and second cousins as well!! This is just a small portion of my family, trust me.... there are many more! curtesy of my uncle Bob for taking the photo!

Finally... time for beach photos!!

I love the beach and i'm so excited to finally be doing beach photos!
It's been a long winter, and it felt sooo good to put my feet in the sand! Love it!!

I went down to the beach sunday night to photograph this family, both of the kids were in town just for the weekend, so we decided to sneak in a quick session.

I've been doing sue's (she's the mom) hair for years, and i used to do her kids when they were little.... makes me feel old! They just wanted to do a family photo (just one), but as we got going, we had so much fun and they were a blast to do!! we just kept going and doing all kinds of poses. What a great family!!
