Staying cool in the 'Heat"

When my husband was a lot younger, he used to go down the road from where he lived
and jump off an old rope into a pond also known as the "Mill pond".
Well... that rope is still there, so the other day i took karaghan down to that
same spot and let her jump off that same rope into that same pond! She thought that was pretty cool to be doing something that her dad had done many years ago!!

Senior Rep.....

This is Chris..... He.... is a Senior! I know!!
My photographer friend kelly invited me to go to the beach w/ her & chris, ( her senior rep) and Chris' mom, to do some senior photos.
Chris was so easy to photograh, he brought his gel with him, so we fixed up his
hair a little and had fun w/ him. he was a good sport! Thank you chris, your photos are a great addition to my portfolio, and thanks kelly for letting me come along!!

A Wedding!

Yes i did a wedding!! i said i would never do weddings and here i am doing one!
it was an experience and a good one at that, i was glad to have had the opportunity
to do it for the Meserve family. it was a very laid back kind of wedding, the weather didn't cooperate for us to do photos down at the beach, but we managed to
get some at the cemetary where the couple were married.

Wecome Baby Charles!!

Welcome into this world baby Charles!! (charlie) He was born on July 3rd, a week early, thank goodness we did mom's photos when we did, we were very close to missing our opportunity of getting some belly photos. I went to see baby charlie when he was 2 days old and did some newborn photos of him. He really wasn't in the mood to have any photos taken of him, can you blame him?? 2 days old?? i wouldn't want my photo taken either. anyway, i will be going back in another week or so and doing some images of charlie and all of his siblings!!

I had the privilege of taking some maternity photos of this mom to be.... it was a first for me doing this kind of work, but i have to say it was fun, i really enjoyed it and would love to do more of this kind of stuff. So any moms to be out there.... call me!! I also did some of her and her other children, they were a hoot to say the least, Caroline has the patience of a saint!! God Bless Her!!

The dance studio usually has a float in the parade, we took part in the festivities this year, decorating, passing out balloons and candy...
i did some mulittasking myself! Trying to walk in the parade while passing out balloons and taking photos!!
Weather was so iffy that evening, It down poured right before we left Dayton, but we really got lucky, the rain held out for most of the parade, w/ the exception of a few sprinkles.

Taking a break from cutting and tying ribbons.... that's hard work ya know!

We Survived!

YaY!! We survived the dance recital!!! It actually went off without a hitch, the hair stayed put, the costumes went on and off fairly smoothly, between three of us
moms taking turns dressing the girls so we didn't miss the dances the girls were in, i have to say it was quite nice.... Rylie did an amazing job!!

Moon!

Did anyone see the moon the other night?? WOW! it was amazing! we were on our way home from our final girls championship game (which we won) and noticed how big and
bright the moon was, I had to go back out just to capture an image of it!
