Happy 4th of July!!! (early)

These photos are actually taken from the other night during the kick off to the lakermesse festival, they were awesome as usual!!

La kermesse!!

The dance studio usually has a float in the parade, we took part in the festivities this year, decorating, passing out balloons and candy...
i did some mulittasking myself! Trying to walk in the parade while passing out balloons and taking photos!!
Weather was so iffy that evening, It down poured right before we left Dayton, but we really got lucky, the rain held out for most of the parade, w/ the exception of a few sprinkles.

Taking a break from cutting and tying ribbons.... that's hard work ya know!

We Survived!

YaY!! We survived the dance recital!!! It actually went off without a hitch, the hair stayed put, the costumes went on and off fairly smoothly, between three of us
moms taking turns dressing the girls so we didn't miss the dances the girls were in, i have to say it was quite nice.... Rylie did an amazing job!!

Moon!

Did anyone see the moon the other night?? WOW! it was amazing! we were on our way home from our final girls championship game (which we won) and noticed how big and
bright the moon was, I had to go back out just to capture an image of it!

SCHOOOOLS OUT, FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!

WOOHOO!! last day of school was wednesday, and karaghan went to the annual class
pool party!! The kids were so excited, the pool was actually heated, so either way
i don't think they would've stayed out of it!

It will be nice to have them home and have some time to do fun stuff with them....

I have a busy week coming up so say a prayer for me... Dance recital rehearsal is today 3 long hours of practice and costume changing... tommorow is the recital!! yippeee! Next saturday i will be photographing a wedding at Laurel Hill Cemetary, so i'm praying for good weather!!

Spit Fire!!

Rylie is my most challenging out of the three kids.... she is very demanding, bossy, energetic,
loud, makes the rules, changes the rules to suit her, and very bright!!! some days, she is loads
of work ;) must have something to do w/ the red hair.I'm sure that one day when she is
older, all of these attributes will serve her well!!
But at the end of the day when it's all said and done and i look at this face, red hair and freckles, all i can do is smile and thank God for her!! She is one of a kind.....

Recital Time!!

I finished up the last group of little dancers last week, this was rylie's group... i was fairly
anxious to do them because she was going to be in them... as it turned out she
ended up being so sick! she came down with strep over the weekend and didn't get to be in any
of the photos! i'm hoping i can get some kind of group photo this weekend coming up, given
the fact that it's RECITAL weekend!! FINALLY!!! The kids will be marching and riding in a
wagon during the Lakermesse festival on the 27th, so i'm sure i will have some images to post
from that.

It's so funny, now that i do photography.... my kids are always pointing things out to me,
they always seem to find things for me to take photos of... for instance, the other day, they
were playing around the dog house and happened to notice this spider web, they started
yelling.... mom!! go get your camera, you should take a picture of this spider web!! sooo...
naturally i had to check it out!! pretty cool huh??
