I'm so far behind!!

With the ice storm that reeked havoc on so many of us, we were without power for almost 5 days, and 3 out of the 5 of us got the flu during the power outage! ugh!!
when the power returned it was my turn to experience the oh so wonderful stomach flu! So needless to say, i'm feeling a bit, no that's not the right word, extremely behind on everything!!! shopping, decorating, baking, all of it, but i am so grateful to my fiends and family for helping us out with the use of their homes, showers and meals during it all! we were so blessed, isn't that what the holidays are really all about?

Fun session...

I did this dad and his daughter about a month ago, but haven't had a chance to post in a while, they were so fun, then they picked out the one of her by herself for their christmas cards, the one with the hat on, so cute!

My christmas card

I had a plan in my head of what i wanted to do for a christmas card, so i got the kids ready on a whim, threw some clothes at them and told them we were doing photos!
NO!!!! they complained, they whined, they moved in slow motion.... i actually had to bribe them with something, but i couldn't even tell you what that was, it has slipped my mind! Well, what i had in mind for a card went right out the window, they (my kids) had other plans, so here is my christmas card, they wanted it to be fun instead of posed and boring like their mom was going to do. then i asked my friend kelly if she had any ideas for a card template,(she's a photographer too) something to go with the whole peace thing, and this is what we came up with. thanks kel!

Cousins, Siblings and then well....

I did some photos for my friend on sunday, she wanted to have some pictures taken of her kids and then some taken of her neice and nephew, as a surprise for the kids mom for christmas.... so we did the first set of siblings and well, you can see the rest for yourself.... thanks guys!! It was fun!!

I bought rylie a holiday dress the other day, well she of course had to do some modeling for me.... she had to have her hair curled as well before we could take any photos! oh she's her mothers daughter!!

Brrrr..... very cold!!

Do these guys look cold?? well they were!!! We went down to the beach on sunday at 8:30 in the morning! Let me tell you... it was very chilly... 22 degrees chilly!
the kids were troopers though, i'd take a few photos, they'd shiver a little, i'd take a few more, the good news was, that i didn't make them stay out there too long.

Veterans Day Parade

On Veterans Day we have a small parade that goes through Biddeford/Saco, karaghan and some of her classmates marched in it and played their instruments for the Saco Middle School. My niece also played her Sax for Thornton Academy.....

My Family....

This rarely happens!! we got together last week for my birthday and i managed to arrange for ALL of my siblings to come early and they all agreed to let me take a family photo! this will be a christmas gift for my parents from all of us, obviously they didn't know what we were up to!! LOL! I can't remember when the last time was that they had a family photo of all of us spouses and kids included.

Look at this cutie, and her precious outfit... Her mom has been planning her photo session since she was 7-8 months old, she just turned one last week!! she found the tutu and hat on line and then she decorated a little t-shirt with the number 1 on it with a little crown! It was absolutely adorable!! I love the pink and the black together, she even had a matching cow she brought with her. I also did the whole family, i will post some images of them as well.

well, i got 2 out of my three kids picture on halloween.... Karaghan and her friends got ready together at a friends house so by the time i met up with her it was dark and i didn't want to carry my camera around with me while we were "trick or treating".
