Tea Party!

This was suppose to be a beach session, but due to the rain, we came up with another plan for this little cutie! Kylie is 2 1/2 and she is a ticket... she hasn't had any photos taken of her since she was a baby, so her great grand mother wanted to have some done of her, i don't blame her for wanting them, she had this great big personality and was sooo smart! She was such a joy to do!

Seniors... It's not too late!

So I had another session last night... a senior, Laura. she was referred to me by her friend katie, another senior i did recently. The weather was beautiful all day, right before the girls were to arrive it started to rain! I had planned to most of the session outdoors, ugh!! i had already loaded up my antique couch on the gator and taken it out to the field behind our house to do part of the session. It wasn't out there for more than 15 minutes and it started to rain!! back out i went to retrieve the couch, so much for my great idea.

I did most of the session inside, we did end up going out and fortunately the rain had let up, sooo i asked girls how they felt about riding on a gator and doing some photos in the field.....they seemed up for the challenge, but they were probably thinking i was wacked!!! We managed to get the couch back out to the field with
the help of the girls, and i got some great images, thanks Katie and Laura!!
Here is one of the girls on the Gator pretending to be driving it! you look like a natural katie!!

Spontaneous shoot!

It's not very often i get to take any photos of my oldest (karaghan), she is so busy now with her friends and activities, and usually when i ask her if i can take some photos of her, she says "not now" or tomorrow.... well that never happens!
we had to go out to do some errands so i grabbed my camera, not telling her... i said oh maybe we can stop and take some pictures by the railroad tracks, she was acutally up for it!! then i found some really cool graffiti down this road i'd never noticed before, so we took some of her there as well, as you can see, she had fun!! and i did too.. she's growing up so fast yikes!!

Happy Birthday Mom & Dad!

We celebrated my mom & dad's birthday this week, we all went to NH where my sister lives, it's not very often we get to all be together at once so it was a really nice time, my parents are the same age (63 shhh) just two days apart! Aren't they cute!!
I managed to get some photos of my neice Abigail and my kids playing with bubbles, I wished they lived closer.... my kids love to to see and play with her.

Another Great Family!

Diane has been a hair client of mine for 20 yrs! she has followed me to every salon i have been in and now that i work at home, she is still one of my many faithful customers, when she asked me to do some family photos for her i was thrilled!
I used to cut her kids hair as well, but it's been years since i've seen them. Diane's son Todd was probably 2 when i first started cutting his hair, and let me tell you.... it was no easy picnic! he gave me such a hard time! :0) We joked about it when i saw him! Laurie lives out of state now and she was here visiting with her boyfriend, so this was a great time to do some photos of them all together!

6:30....... YAWN!!!

First day of school today, I put my "baby" on the bus at 6:30 for middle school, way too early!! I can't believe she is in MIDDLE school! she was so excited about it, so it made it easier for me to let her go. She also informed me i didn't need to wait with her every morning.... just her subtle way of telling me not to embarrass her! hee hee!
Then the other two hopped on their bus @ 8:00, it was so strange having them all in school,ALL day, this is a mile stone for me!!! and for them too! I may actually have some free time to MYSELF! hmmm... what's that like????

GORGEOUS!

Yikes!!
I think i would be locking this one away if i were her mom & dad!!!
Katie said i could do whatever i wanted to with her, so i had all kinds
of things planned, she is a senior and she was so willing to be adventerous!
I posted several images from her session for a sneak peak.

So many photo "OPPS"

OMG!!! So many beautiful things to take photos of!! I took so many photos I didn't know which ones to post so as you can see i put quite a few up. I spent the day at Peaks Island with some of my girlfriends today, i've never been to the island before, I live such a sheltered life! I didn't realized what i was missing!! It's so peaceful and laid back there. We had lunch at Peaks Island INN, the food & drinks were soo yummy, and we definately were well taken care of! The dessert was so pretty, I had to take a photo of it too.
There was a wedding at the Inn that afternoon so we were checking out the decorations and decided to plant our bodies in front of the gazebo and have our photo taken as well.
I highly recommend the Inn if you are looking for a quaint place to stay, we had the pleasure of checking out some of the rooms, they were so beautiful and spacious!
I'm thinking we may go back and spend a night or two ourselves.... right girls??

Just a couple of cool things that really caught my eye as we waited for our ferry to come....

Another Senior!

I had the pleasure of photographing yet another great kid.... this is Matt, he is a senior. We went down to Fortunes Rocks last night to do this session, the weather ended up being really nice, and the showers held off for us! Thanks Matt for being such a great sport!
