My Family....

This rarely happens!! we got together last week for my birthday and i managed to arrange for ALL of my siblings to come early and they all agreed to let me take a family photo! this will be a christmas gift for my parents from all of us, obviously they didn't know what we were up to!! LOL! I can't remember when the last time was that they had a family photo of all of us spouses and kids included.

The other image is of my sister and her husband(colleen & bryan) and their little girl Abigail.

Abigail turns "ONE"

Look at this cutie, and her precious outfit... Her mom has been planning her photo session since she was 7-8 months old, she just turned one last week!! she found the tutu and hat on line and then she decorated a little t-shirt with the number 1 on it with a little crown! It was absolutely adorable!! I love the pink and the black together, she even had a matching cow she brought with her. I also did the whole family, i will post some images of them as well.

Happy Halloween!

well, i got 2 out of my three kids picture on halloween.... Karaghan and her friends got ready together at a friends house so by the time i met up with her it was dark and i didn't want to carry my camera around with me while we were "trick or treating".

This a great time of year for Family photos....

I think this is my third time photgraphing these kids, when i first decided to start doing photography, I asked Amy if i could practice taking pictures of her kids, and here they are 3 years later still asking me to do a family portrait of them. I think they're pretting comfortable with me at this point!!

A Tractor, some pumpkins and 3 cute Kids!!

This session was a lot of fun, the kids were really good and hello...... are they cute or what?? I could've kept shooting all afternoon, but it really started to get cold, so i let the kids end the session by throwing piles of leaves in the air while i captured a few more images!

Running Away!

I have to share a cute story with you....Rylie my youngest (6yrs old) kinda got herself into some trouble this morning, which isn't hard to do. So because of her actions she got scolded which apparently she wasn't happy about....
during the course of the morning she was jotting down some words on a clipboard,
when we went out to wait for the bus, she read this letter to me that she had written, handed it to me and proceeded to get on the bus!!
Good thing she read it to me because some of it was not so easy to understand... It goes something like this: Dear Mom and Dad and karaghan and Anthony I am sorry! And Im rning away and im lving with Lily ( her best friend) and im navr koming bk and me and lily will play togther forevr!!
How cute is that?? I'll hang on to it and show her some day when she is older!!

Yah, i'm back!! i have been so busy with photos but i haven't had time nor have i had my computer for a whole week to post anything! I can't believe how dependent i am on it, i use it for everything. It ended up having some kind of virus, so i had to give it up so the whole thing could be cleaned up, so from now on when someone sends me an e-mail thing to pass on to ten of my friends, sorry..... i'm just going to delete it! haha!
Anyway... i just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Lily!! She had a birthday party on friday night, she had pumpkin painting and apple bobbing for all the kids, it was lots of fun. Her mom is my friend that makes those amazing cakes! (one posted)
I posted some of them in a previous blog as well. !

Baby Charles

Can you stand it?? How cute is this little guy!! I took some photos of Charles when he was 3 days old, in a previous blog... here he is at 3 months old!! He has the most amazing eyes, and i just wanted to bite his little thighs!!

Fall Colors....

I love this time of year!! the colors have been so beautiful...it's been fun to do some outdoor sessions. I made an attempt to do some photos of my kids... well that was a fiasco!! (sp?) They were all in a fowl mood! so much for trying to do a christmas photo early....
So instead i did some photos of this cute family, this is probably the 3rd time doing these cuties... just about every year i do a family photo and in between i do a yearly photo of them individually.

Sisters!

These girls were so much fun to photograph! Despite the wind and chilliness, we had fun playing around with different poses.... lots of hair blowing in these photos!! I'm thinking we may do an in studio session so they'll have a few more options to choose from.

Apple Picking...

After church on sunday a group of us went to the Lakeside Apple Orchid....of course i just so happen to have my camera! What a beautiful orchid!! All the apples trees over look this huge pond, the kids can bring their fishing poles and do a little fishing if they want, and it's a great spot for PHOTOS!!

I did sort of a different black & white conversion to these photos..... they have sort of a grainy feel to them.
These were taken at the Lakeside Apple Orchid in Lyman, the kids were having a ball after we picked apples, the two girls sitting in the chairs were eating apples and atually sitting in front of a pond, which you can't really see.

My friend & neighbor,Donna and her daughter Skye, who is a good friend of my daughter karaghan, wanted to do some photos of the two of them as a surprise for her husband who is turning.... well, let's just say it's a "big birthday" this year for him! So i hope he likes the photos and I hope we pulled it off without him suspecting anything!

Tea Party!

This was suppose to be a beach session, but due to the rain, we came up with another plan for this little cutie! Kylie is 2 1/2 and she is a ticket... she hasn't had any photos taken of her since she was a baby, so her great grand mother wanted to have some done of her, i don't blame her for wanting them, she had this great big personality and was sooo smart! She was such a joy to do!

Seniors... It's not too late!

So I had another session last night... a senior, Laura. she was referred to me by her friend katie, another senior i did recently. The weather was beautiful all day, right before the girls were to arrive it started to rain! I had planned to most of the session outdoors, ugh!! i had already loaded up my antique couch on the gator and taken it out to the field behind our house to do part of the session. It wasn't out there for more than 15 minutes and it started to rain!! back out i went to retrieve the couch, so much for my great idea.

I did most of the session inside, we did end up going out and fortunately the rain had let up, sooo i asked girls how they felt about riding on a gator and doing some photos in the field.....they seemed up for the challenge, but they were probably thinking i was wacked!!! We managed to get the couch back out to the field with
the help of the girls, and i got some great images, thanks Katie and Laura!!
